Regular feed grade oil reduced to 'nano' sized particles
By reducing the droplet size of oils and fats it is possible to mix them easily with water without emulsifiers or surfactants. This advanced technology allows direct addition to drinking water systems of farm animals.
The advantage of the process is a product that has a particle size of around 50nm.
Almost any liquid oil can be subjected to the process. Successful types so far include:

Hot Climates
Heat stress is common in intensive rearing situations, even at modest climatic temperatures. The extra-caloric effect demonstrated with oils and fats is ideal to help combat this condition. The energy needed to digest oils and fats is far less than for cereals and vegetable materials. Much of this energy is wasted as heat and further raises the core temperature of the animal. Fats and oils, being more easily digested contribute much less to the heat loss. Nano oils still less. Secondly, in hot condition, feed intake is often low. Getting the necessary nutrients into the animal is difficult, so productivity suffers. Water intake, however, is maintained, often increased, hence and ideal vehicle for nutrient supply.
